Age Limit
The age limit for Assam HS TET Recruitment 2024 is 18 to 40 years as on 01.01.2023

| Graduate Teacher (Arts) | 1) Arts/Commerce Graduate or Post Graduate from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in Graduation or Post Graduation 2) Possession of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from an institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education 3) Degrees/certificates from institutions outside Assam without recognized study centers in the state aren’t valid for employment as per Govt. Medium of Instructions
Besides the mentioned qualifications, candidates must meet specific criteria for the medium of instruction to apply for the Assam HS TET Recruitment 2024:
- English Medium School: Passed HSLC with Alternative English or studied from Class XI onward in an English medium school.
- Assamese Medium School: Passed HSLC with Assamese Language or holds a Diploma in Assamese Language from Axom Sahitya Sabha or studied up to HSLC in an Assamese medium school.
- Hindi Medium School: Passed HSLC with Hindi as a subject or studied up to HSLC in a Hindi medium school.
- Bengali Medium School: Passed HSLC with Bengali as a subject or holds a certificate in Bengali Language from Barak Upatyaka Bangya Sahitya Sanskriti Sammetan or studied up to HSLC in a Bengali medium school.
- Bodo Medium School: Passed HSLC with Bodo as a subject or studied up to HSLC in a Bodo medium school.
Note: For hiring teachers in MIL subjects, candidates who passed the HSLC Examination with a specific MIL Subject will be considered.
