Eligibility Criteria for the GATE Registration 2024

• Candidates currently studying in the 3rd or higher year of their Undergraduate degree in a recognized college/university can apply.
• Candidates who have completed/ are pursuing their Undergraduate degree from a foreign college/university must currently be in their 3rd year or higher of undergraduate. They must also have/be pursuing a degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Science/ Architecture/ Humanities.
• Candidates who have a certification from professional societies like IE, ICE, IETE, AeSI, IIChE, etc, must ensure that those examinations are approved by MoE/ AICTE/ UGC/ UPSC as being equivalent to B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Arch./ B.Planning, etc.
• Candidates currently enrolled in a higher degree/ possess a degree higher than that mentioned in the table below, will be allowed to appear for GATE 2024.

• Fill in the required details like your name, age, educational qualifications, address etc.
• Attach all the documents requested like your photo, signature, marksheets, etc.
• Once the form is duly filled candidates are required to pay the application fee. The application fee for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Female candidates is Rs. 900, and it is Rs. 1800 for all other candidates.
• Once the form is duly filled & successfully submitted, candidates are advised to print two copies of the application form and keep it safely for further use.
